Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis, or OA, is the most common form of arthritis, usually affecting older people but seen as well in younger people. Osteoarthritis is often degenerative, caused by “wear and tear” and loss of the cushioning cartilage in the joints. In some patients inflammation from the immune system can be seen.
