Dr_ArnoldsORNS rheumatologists, Dr. William Arnold and Dr. Erin Arnold, are board-certified, leading specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout.  We are dedicated to providing our patients with the most personal, innovative and effective treatments available in medicine today.

A Personalized Health Care approach

Each day dramatic advances in diagnostic tools and analysis for disease are being made.  Genetic tests are already available for many conditions, including some types of cancer, that allow doctors to better diagnose and treat the condition.  It is part of a growing movement in medicine called Personalized Health Care (PHC).  PHC shuns a “one size fits all” approach to disease treatment.  Rather, it promotes tailoring treatment to the individual characteristics of each patient –  utilizing testing and gene analysis to understand each patient’s unique molecular and genetic profile.  One day we foresee being able to utilize a blood test to diagnose arthritis and determine the most effective treatment – eventually to even cure it.

Until that day, ORNS employs this Personalized Health Care approach for our patients by utilizing the most sophisticated tools and testing available today  – such as ultrasound imaging, x-rays, VECTRA-DA (multi-biomarker analysis) and more.  With these tools, we are able to understand each patient’s unique condition and provide an equally unique plan to treat, monitor, predict and prevent disease.

“Whole patient” care like no other

We work closely with our patients to create treatment plans that provide a 360 degree approach incorporating medication, therapy, supplement, vitamin, nutrition and exercise recommendations for all our patients.  This treatment strategy, or Personal Care Plan (PCP), is part of our commitment to providing individualized, state-of-the-art care for our patients.
